Most internet users now have an experienced on downloading TV show on the internet. Most of them prefer to download it instead of buying a DVD copy or watching it on a theater because it is free. They can also choose from thousand of TV show online from the classic to the latest TV show.

These internet users don’t have an idea of what risks can they get by downloading TV show for free on the internet. They do not aware that most of the files that they are getting online have viruses that can get any information from them, from their real name, address, phone numbers and even their credit card information. Hackers are attaching programs on TV show files that have capability to get any information they want to an internet user and use it for their fraud activities online. Another risk is you are a part of an illegal activity because you’re downloading a TV show from a website that doesn’t have any permission to upload it and share it to others. By just downloading it, TV show production companies can sue you and you’ll end up paying them by the damage you’ve done even if you’re not the one who upload it. 1st world countries are now strict on piracy online and even if you just download it and you don’t any affiliate to the website you get it from, you’re still liable to any damages because you’re still part of that illegal activity which is “Piracy”.

We need to be careful on our actions on the internet. Free doesn’t mean we do not need to act properly and we just need to use the advantages that we can get from it, we should know our limitations and laws so that we will be able to put our self on a safe position and at the same time we will be able protect our self from any hackers online.
